Prosperity loadings 1937

In 1937 the Court added to these amounts additional loadings, which it referred to as ‘prosperity loadings’, because of present prosperity and for stabilizing reasons[1]. These amounts were 6 shillings for NSW, Victoria and Queensland, and 4 shillings for the remaining States. In 1950 they were merged with the basic wage[2].
